Choose This Week’s Focus

article header

When you are building a business, everything can feel important. Your website, logo, content, pricing, products, emails, paperwork, photos, and social media can all compete for your attention.

But trying to do everything at once usually leads to doing nothing clearly.

This checklist helps you choose one focus for the week. A clear focus makes it easier to take action and feel progress.
Write down everything on your mind

Make a full list of business tasks.

Do a quick brain dump. Include big tasks, small tasks, ideas, worries, and things you keep putting off.
Circle what matters most right now

Choose the tasks that would help you move forward soonest.

Ask yourself: what would make the biggest difference this week? What is blocking the next step?
Pick one main focus

Choose one area for the week.

Your focus could be brand, website, money, content, setup, launch, or customers. Try not to pick more than one.
Choose 3 small tasks

Break your focus into small actions.

Example: if your focus is “website,” your tasks might be write homepage copy, choose images, and add contact form.
Put the tasks on your checklist

Add the 3 tasks to your active checklist.

Keep the list short enough to finish. Progress feels better when the list is realistic.
Review at the end of the week

Check what got done and what still matters.

At the end of the week, mark completed tasks and move anything important to next week.

Example text:

“My focus this week is getting my first offer ready. My 3 tasks are naming the offer, writing what is included, and choosing a starting price.”
